Lasting pain

The pain is to great
To much taking over my thin body
My head hurts
My arms numb

Heart racing
Beating to fast
Breath short and quick

Other jus sit and watch
There gazes turn away from me
There laughter and songs
Of meadow and love
Filling my head

A call for help
No one looks

Tears run down my face
The cries of pain
Washed away
By the laughter

So here I sit
In the back
Hiding in the darkness
No one to see
The pain and hurt in me eyes

Let them walk on by
No cries of help anymore
Some one out there will come
And save me from
This lasting pain
