Everyday

Once upon a time
There was a little female
She was cutting a line
Starting at her finger nails.

She didn't know what happened
She didn't know how it could be
But it just kind of dampened
Her views on reality.

It started out like this:
There was once a boy
Who gave her a kiss
And with it stole her joy.

She accidentally gave him her heart
She didn't mean to let it go
Then he broke it apart
And she let her tears flow.

In the end
This little female
Began to mend
She started by erasing his emails.

She was trying to forget
This burning pain
So a lot of other boys she met
Trying to be rid of her hearts strain.

It never did work
For she saw him everyday
She drowned herself in a brook
Hurt by continuous dismay.

She wrote her love for him down
Put it on his desk
Drew him a frown
And failed her last test.

The test of life
She did not complete
Full of bitter strife
In life, she decided to retreat.
