Fight for Defeat

Ridin round town
stopped at a red light
looked to the left
and then to the right

I saw a girl
with a shower cap on
a smile on her face
and yet all her hair was gone

looked like her sister
and a friend
were with her

I wondered where she was headed
I wondered where she had been
I wondered why a girl so young
Had no hair on her head but only
had skin

her smile was tender kind and sweet
I knew within her smile
there was a fight for defeat

how can a child so young
take all of that on
when I cant seem to handle
all of lifes scandal

you never know when life
will end
so today Im beginning to live
life to the fullest my friend
