Never again

by Cody Tripp   Jun 28, 2006

I said I wouldn't do it.
I pledged never again.
Yet here I stand doing it, breaking every rule.
It cuts deeper than a knife.
It burns hotter than a flame.
Standing here doing it and pleading never again.

Have you ever had a heart ache that just wouldn't go away?
Promising not to cry, yet doing it every time.
Standing there screaming never again.

Never letting up not even easing away.
The pain gets worse every day.
Though a smile may apeare it is sure to dwendle away.
Standing here wishing never again.

Feeling so weak, screaming so loud, it just wont go away.
Standing here crying, knowing it will HAPPEN AGAIN.
