My declaration

I will grab your attention,
Captivate, you will not miss this,
Tell me if you can hear me,
I will not let this go unnoticed,

This is my declaration,
My undying love, sketched upon my skin,
This is my suicide,
A tale of death within,

These are my acid tears.
Burning in my wounds,
This is the sound of my sobbing,
A soft melancholic tune,

I am dying for you,
I love you and that's all you need to know,
I save you from myself,
I'm willing to let go.

    This is a very beautifully written poem. I love the line "I save you from myself" I've never thought of something like that before, and really made me think. I love this poem, it really gives me inspiration to let go of my ex. Great job on this. And I wish you all the best! You're an amazing poet and will go far with it.     Beautiful! I loved it! Your use of words was great. The flow to the poem was good. The poem was short, but for some reason I prefer short poems. I enjoyed it! Great job!

    Brilliant poem! It is short but still manages to convey a lot of feeling. I think that the 3rd verse is the best...
