From Something Small

From Something Small

May it be like a sun flower
Or may it be like a daisy
We’ve all grown from something small
Something out of the ordinary; something crazy

We all started as a tiny little seed
Growing into our very own roots
Sprouting out our leaves
Then dancing in the rain drops in our boots

Then on those summer days
We spread our pedals
As far as the sky can be
The suns rays deserve medals

We grew from something bitty
Into something beautiful
From dancing in our boots
To winning medals; how wonderful

So we continue to grow
From rain to shine
We dance and sing
We laugh so fine

Beauty we show
Smarts and wits
Love as we grow
Into perfect fits

Sometimes we die
As winter chills comes in
But only as time goes on
Will the sun shine again

We then repeat the process
Slowly growing from something small
Just to be beautiful and happy again
Just to feel the sun shine fall
