Clearer

by Sam   Jun 28, 2006

I look in the mirror,
and it's becoming clearer,
can't make this all go away.

Now that I am bleeding,
I stare up at the ceiling,
and watch it fade away.

Now that I've done this,
I ask for forgiveness,
Doctor, please be my priest.

I know I'm mistaken,
Look at the pills I've taken,
And I laugh as I lie through my teeth.

This is good, this one line really made it for me though, and stood out to the rest,

    "Doctor, please be my priest"

maybe its just me, but i think thats a great line, simple yet thoughtfull.
    great work
