I Was Number One

by Sarah Ann   Jun 28, 2006

I'm feeling it, you're letting go
Thinking I won't notice so
And your voice brings another tone
It's making me feel all alone

Selfish as my heart may feel
My worst nightmare's becoming real
You're happier and I'm depressed
And now I'll always be upset

If you're not there to cry with me
How will all the people see
That our lives were once on the line
But now you're gone, and it's just mine

I know I used to wish you well
But now you're leaving, I'm in hell
I don't want this girl to take my place
For without you I have lost my face

Come back to me and leave her there
You promised you would always care
And as number one I'll always stand
But look, you've let go of my hand

-Ah this is just about my best friend, who is a guy, and he has a girlfriend now, so he's straying away from me. You know the deal. Comment and I'll return. Thanks guys!-

Yeah, i do know the deal. It's really hard to let a best friend go in any situation, but that is probably the hardest. Great work on this one, as well! =]
