You and me are meant to be
day in day out
I'm losing my best friend my soul mate
you and me forever thats how it's meant to be
you pack a bag
you brush past me
i can see tears in your eyes
i slide down the wall
i hear your footsteps on the stairs
movement downstairs
then the door closes
your gone
I've lost my best friend, my soul mate

    OMG lorna. What a sad poem. `I slid down the wall` can see it in my head clearly. So much sadness and longing. And you have brought it all to life within such a short poem. Clever.
