Oath to you

by Sarah   Jun 28, 2006

Twenty years from now,
I wanted you to know,
that even though your not here,
my love for you will still grow.

We may not make new memories together,
but i will make them for us both,
Cause I carry you with me
as I have made myself that oath.

We may have buried your body
but your heart and soul remains.
It's intertwined amongst mine,
your blood runs through my veins.

I wake up each and every morning,
to your glowing and gorgeous face.
I tuck you in beside me at night,
you will always have that place.

Although I hope to one day love again,
I know no one can compare to you.
We grew together side by side,
no comparing what we've been through.

So, Babe, your life is truly everlasting,
I will forever make that my goal.
And I know you know, but I must tell you again.
That I love you with my whole heart and soul.
