I used to sit and think about where I was and where I'd been,

My life seemed like it was going nowhere- I never thought I'd win,

My friends were all deserting me,

They had a reason too,

I almost had lost all hope- until I found you,

You're the best friend I could ask for,

The best friend I'll ever get,

We'll be friends until the bitter end- this I'd be willing to bet,
