TO: BUNK

As I stand alone, now so confused
My heart broken, torn and bruised
I wonder why you left me here
You were one I held so dear

Without a kiss, with no goodbye
Now in the casket, still you lye
You felt there was no hope at all
So with a gun, you did fall

Why didn't you reach out to me
Your pain inside I now can see
I'll never let go of what we shared
You were someone who really cared

This hurt inside I feel so deep
But the memories of you forever I'll keep
With your sweet voice stuck in my head
Of all the little things you've said

And as the lid begins to drop
I feel as though my heart will stop
Even though you now must go
I'll love you forever and this you know!

This poem is true, I wrote it for 'Bunk', he was one of my best friends.

    Awww.. that was so sad. I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't really relate, but it must be very hard. The poem was very good the flow ans rhyming were good as always. Keep writting.
