The Web Of Earthly Delights

by RainbowSlider   Jun 29, 2006

Come into my parlor said the spider to the fly.
Come closer, closer; Sociability I will try.
Make yourself comfortable; Cozy at my home.
We will talk of flying and flies left alone.

No need to rush off; My web is guarded strong.
We can spend time together; The night is long.
My home isn't much; The web will grow on you.
You attach easily; Silk looks good on you, too.

I am glad you stopped by; I really like flies.
I love to collect things; I have some nice pies.
Look at my stamp collection; Sticky things are sweet.
You look good enough to eat; You are a nice treat.

I have some imported stuff; I have some honey.
You can stay with me; You don't need money.
I don't get many visitors; You're my first tonight.
Relax and lose your cares; You can spend the night.

Don't worry about tomorrow; We have time now.
No need to stress or fret; Don't have a cow.
Enjoy your life; It is not as bad as it seems.
Calm down; take a load off and pleasant dreams.
