Now you're free

by XII Sarah IIX   Jun 29, 2006

You lost your way
but now you're free.
it was your lies and callas that made me flee.

I let go and so did you
of something we worked for
back then it felt so true.

our lives are so different now
if only we knew where we'd end up
the day we took that vow.

You feel like a stranger
you make me so mad
we gave up our lives with each other
for that i feel sad.

Your words were empty
and your heart is weak
you're not who i thought you were
that, now i see.

you had so much to prove
you tried to to fit in
if only you realized beauty comes from within.

i hope you learn from your mistake
and treasure so well the next heart you take

you have the chance to spare your son
from the heartache and pain.
the sadness, the rain
please don't let him down again

let him suffer and you will see
just what you lost the day you walked free
and completely gave up on your responsibility.
