Broken hearted

He broke my heart
Even after he promised we would never be apart
Time is all it took for him to slip away
Everyday I pray that he will return to me someday
It never works- at least not for me
I once thought that me and him were ment to be
But then another girl took away what was mine
I have to again wait for time
Maybe if I wait long enough
My life wont be so rough
So Ill wait until you come back to me
Then maybe we will see if we were meant to be
