These kids just couldnt last

by just chelsea   Jun 29, 2006

Daddy is drunk again
Mommy left in fear
Leaving her baby boy
Her little baby dear

Daddy ran upstairs
After his only son
Going up to beat him
At the time it seemed fun

Daddy opened the door
The boy hid under his bed
Knowing if he made a noise
He was sure to be dead

Permanently traumatized
He had courage in his eyes
But he breathed too boldly
For daddy herd his sighs

Daddy found him under the bed
And beat the son out of breath
A drunken father and child abuse
Led to this poor boy's death

Too many innocent children
Hid their pride and cried
Too many innocent children
Sadly Abused and died

These children have no future
And hardly have a past
Because of child abusers
These kids just couldn't last
