Ballarina tears

by just chelsea   Jun 29, 2006

Tiny ballerina tears
Danced down her face
To a muffled song
That were her sobs
And she cried into her pillow
Which was now a grave
A grave for her dancers
And she began drown
In a see of black emotions
Floating through her dreams
Drifting through her nightmares
Floating to the shore
On a broken memory
Finally reaching the land
She quickly gasped for air
Catching her breath
She fell into his arms
And kissed his lips
Softly and gently
She kissed his lips again
And tasted his poison lies
A storm sweltered overhead
Then broke and split its rain
Her soul was destroyed
And her heart broke in two
She fell piece by piece
And died more inside
As the ballerina tears
Keep dancing down her face
To a muffled song
That are her sobs
As she cries into her pillow
Which remains a graveyard
For her dying ballerinas

Good poem-i really like the flow of it...especially at the end. It has a great conclusion-a good use of repetition, and changing the verb tense made the poem more powerful. The only thing that stopped the flow was this line:

    ''And she began drown''
I think theres supposed to be a ''to'' in there----

    5/5 keep writing!
