Hurt

She goes into the relationship
knowing they're all the same
she'll be left broken hearted yet again
stuck with herself to blame

but somehow its almost worth it
to be painfully hurt in the end
because she knows with time eventually
her heart will find a way to mend

its the typical relationship
butterflies when he calls
goofy smiling when hes around
and singing at home in the halls

she gets to know him really well
and finds hes extremely unique
all his love and dedicated time
she soon decides to seek

he takes the time to write her
calls her when shes sad,
does everything he can in his power
to calm her when shes mad

tells her shes beautiful everyday
holds her tight not wanted to let go
makes her smile when shes crying
proving hes not the "average Joe"

everything is perfect
when he says he has to leave
he'll only be gone for a week
and his love she'll still receive

the week goes by terribly slow
counting down days till he get home
shes startled by something incredibly loud
realizing its just the phone

his voice seems kind of nervous
not saying whats on his mind
she tried to ignore it glad hes home
not knowing what later she'll find

later that night he's on the computer
he tells her things have changed
she knows exactly where he's going
finding it a bit strange

she cried the hardest she ever cried
but agreeing its for the best
she thinks to herself (not able to breath)
another boy has failed the test

he was different then everyone
making him the biggest heartbreak
once again loving a boy
turned out to be a mistake

she knows she didn't cause it
she guessed loving him was wrong
she doesn't understand why he did it
but this time she has to be strong

her heart knows goodbye means forever
but hes chose to let her go
how much he hurt her in one night
