Graveyard

by Your Blood I Want.   Jun 30, 2006

Beyond the caverns
of silent depression
Lies the thoughts
of death and disease
Happiness nowhere to be found
lost in paradise somewhere else
While I'm left behind
wondering when I'll leave this place
This place of death
The trees in here all dried and dead
the leaves brown and shriveled
Hang above the tombstones
of our thoughts now dormant
in a painful coma
We release the thoughts
by awaking them with the blade
Ripping away
at the face of life
becoming nothing left
but the skull of depression
