To: Sheest, I love you to death!!

I wish I could take all the pain away
I know you've had to endure
I wish I could heal your wounded heart
I wish I had some sort of cure

I hope one day when you look in the mirror
You'll see what the world does see
A beautiful, talented, gifted girl
A girl who can say, "I love me"

You're so strong and brave, with the world at your feet
Yet everyone sees it but you
So take off the mask, let your soul heal
And to your heart please be true

I will always be here, through the good and the bad
And I'll never pass judgement on you
I'll be here for you with my love and support
But there's one thing I must ask you to do

Please put down the pills, the razors and drugs
Believe me it's gonna be tough
Because it gives you comfort and helps you cope
Even when times may seem too rough

So when you feel the need, call on me
Because I truly can empathize
Remember I've been there, through the hurt and the pain
The sadness, the fears and lies

Always know you mean the world to me
You're my sister AND my best friend
I'll love you with all my heart and soul
No matter what, till the end!!

    Omg! love the poem! it reminds me of my best friend! she passed out today at school (u should have seen her arm! she cut her self so bad! she lost so much blood to! she alive thats for sure!)

    This is an outstanding poem!! i know that ur friend is safe with you!! you won't let any harm through!!! my best friend used to cut... she gave it up everything from smoking, pills and the razor!!! She said she couldn't have done it without me...so be there for your friend she needs you!!!!

    Nice poem. I would like to praise this poem with rhythm, flow, rhyming, meaning. But it seems a little too personal. I hope you're friend has got/is getting through fine!

    Awww that was so sweet!! I can tell you love your sister very much! The overall poem was really good, the rhyming and flow were good. I think what kept me wanting to keep reading it was because of how much emotion you expresed towards your sister. Great job!
