Back Once More

Two months ago you held my heart
But you broke it and I fell apart
So deep down inside a hole
That I didn't think I'd love at all

But now you're running back to me
Saying that we were meant to be
And first, I couldn't understand
I wouldn't let you hold my hand

Yet days went by and nights were long
Winds sang to me as a slow song
But I couldn't dance without you there
That's when I knew my heart still cared

In the darkness I tried feeling around
But my thoughts, they always hit the ground
I lost my chance with you I feared
And every night I shed more tears

Realization hit me hard I knew
For nothing denies I'm missing you
Your lips, your touch and your mere sight
Had once made everything alright

I will love you till the sky falls down
And my body lies far under ground
I know that we should have moved on
But I am lost without you when you're gone

((This is probably the worst poem I wrote. Can't write love poems for my life, but yeah, it's just a vent.))
