Perfect Little Princess

by lonelynow   Jul 1, 2006

She was a perfect little princess
Her hair shined; her teeth did too
When she smiled
You felt beautiful
Betrayal is painful
It hurt her little heart
And then this little princess
Slowly fell apart
Her teeth and face became dull
Ribs and hips poked through her skin
Hair and flesh dripped from her skull
She couldn't keep the butterfly in
Everybody ignored her
They didn't care what she had to say
They could never forgive her
When the princess went away
So now she wonders the corridors
Scarred and lonelynow
She's not a perfect little princess
She knows that now
