My Kiss Of Death

by RainbowSlider   Jul 1, 2006

When you died a part of me died, too.
I went into a rage and screamed, "No".
It was a total shock; you turned blue.
If only you could feel what I know.
I watched the life drain out of you.
I could not cope when your eyes set.
In my heart I will always love true.
Forever I will be in your love's debt.
All of you was distant and so cold.
I will always remember your last breath.
I took you in one last lover's hold.
Your lips were sweet; my kiss of death.
