I Want To Be Better

I want to be better than the rest
I want to be without a doubt best

For once I want to be the one to shine
I want all the glory and victory to be mine

I never want to be wrong, I want to be right
I want to be loved everyday and night

I want to be happy, I want to be proud
I want to do something right and scream it loud

I want to be excited, I want to have fun
I want to be able to say "I won"

I don't want regret, I don't want hate
I want to be remembered as wonderful or great

I want to do the best, I want to be diligent
I want to be odd, I want to be different

I wish you'd see, I wish you understood
