Prayer

As I lay my head upon the ground
I pray to God and scream out loud
Why must I deal with all the pain and guilt
Why must my mascara stain and my blood be spilt
If you had compassion wouldn't you carry me home?
But I'm only left with empty pride and no place to go
I don't doubt your existence because in my heart I know your there
But please tonight...Just answer my prayer
