They
loved me
when there
was no
other.
Mended me,
defended me.
Nice dream

They
grew me
my very own
rose.
Named it
after me,
looked after
me.
Sweet dream.

They
made me
a perma-smiled
girlfriend,
she always
listened,
never
questioned.
Cool dream.

They
coloured in the
sketches
of my
life.
Always sacrificed,
never criticized.
My dreams.

Alone.
No one
home,
no messages
on the
answer phone.
If I could have
been the
person
you wanted,
I would have
been that
person,
all the time.

They
gave me
their shoulder
to cry on,
rely on.
(Silence)

    Great job Craig...top marks to you as well, and thank you for your continued attempts..apparently..to make me feel great about myself...as far as my writing at least, it's working!!! You are so sweet..and SUCH a good writer...I use the word unique to comment on you all of the time, I know, but that's because that's what comes to mind. My poems tend to be about the same things, said in different ways..I have 99 now so no. 100 will come Saturday I think with my son at a sleepover and I have some time to think on it..want to try something different..just can't think right now of an idea. Have any for me??? Anyway, yes I got screenplay, sent a msg. to outlook will email you soon to snafu...it was absolutely terrific til the end..hahaha j/k...great and totally original, like nothing I've ever read all the way thru..I'm just a sucker for a happy ending, so don't mind me!! ;) Anyway, talk to you soon...great job my friend...
