I wrote this poem for my best friend who is havng a rough time with her breakup.
When life isn't going your way,
And you need to let everything out,
I'll be your crying shoulder.
Shed your thousand tears upon me,
I won't wipe them elsewhere.
Cry as long as you need,
I won't walk away from your pain.
I'll be here as long as it takes,
For a smile to appear
On your tear stained face.
I'm your friend, I'm trying my best
To help you through this sadness.
