Her cries break the quiet slicing it's way through her heart
She screams out his name with tears pouring down her face
With that tight knot in her chest and her world falling apart
She was so happy sharing her life with the man she loved
Her smiles were warm her love strong and full of passion
But darkness crept upon her and being strong was no longer enough
He walked out of her life leaving her to face the world on her own
Left her with empty promises and nothing but a memory
And she would not be okay As he should have known
Late at night her heart weeps and she breaks all over again
She begs him to come back to her to love her once more
But their love is lost and she must live with this and leave behind with what was then
