Please Don't Leave.

by Fredaeya   Jul 3, 2006

She sat in silence, tears running down her face,
Turned and whispered to him, 'I'm such a disgrace',
He hesistated, not removing his stare from her eyes,
And whispered back'babe, I'm immune to lies',

Speechless she sat there, not sure what to say,
No one had ever loved her ever treated her this way,
He had to be lying, how could it be true?
It had to be impossible, no one would ever love her to,

He grabbed her hand and shared a smile,
"Trust in me babe, it's worth your while"
She felt her heart melting sweet tears of joy,
But she simply couldn't trust him, after all he's just a 'boy',

And as mascara weeped along her cheek,
She hadn't eaten in at least a week,
With no arms to hold her, just a broken heart,
And a shattered soul, ripped and torn apart...

So she sits in silence, teas running down her face,
Whispering to herself 'I fu.cked up, I'm such a disgrace',
and so she pulls out a rusty razor and rolls up a tear stained sleeve,
and to her surprise, he wraps his arms round from behind her and whispers slowly

'Please don't leave'.
