This is a true Story.
This poem is dedicated to my BEST FRIEND,AKI......he had aids...but through an infected needle..................................
i was sitting right next to him holding his hand,when he passed away.....it was'nt his fault....we went to a local hospital for check up...where the doctor was absent minded....why him?...he was so young..he had a life to live there was so much he had'nt seen.why him go?why him?....so i wrote this poem to express just a little of what he felt...and to create awareness..plz tell me if i had been succesful in expressing him.....

Your poem is excellent. I'm sorry for your frined though. I know how it feels to lose your love ones. I lost my best friend last year. She was ina car accident with me. I survived and she died.

We had a friend..jason..or we called him jigga. we lost him and everyone was upset and couldn't figure out why it was him and not someone else. he died in a 4 wheel accident. i'm not going to sit here and say "oh my i'm so sorry" i know for us that made us feel worse. i know what you went through though. and i know what its like to miss them. you expressed yourself really well in this poem. don't stop writing.

I hope I don't get al soft and cry. This was overwhelmingly sad. . . In so many ways. i got goosebumps and my mouth was on the floor. This is one (of the many) of my favorite stanzas:
Then,you see a light at the end,
but everytime you take a step,
it gets dim.

That is so beautiful and it tells a story itself. 5/5 Wake. You write AMAZING words. Keep at it.
