Imaginary

by RetroRavey   Jul 3, 2006

This place,
so real...
but is it?

Shadows cross the path,
Of lanes lit by fire
And you know, just how to taunt
My imaginary desire.

And my imaginary home's,
Where all the hidden lies.
I try to stay and ponder
My imaginary disguise.

Here, reality is fiction,
That's the imaginary truth.
He's my imaginary lover,
In this imaginary room.

I think the theme was really well thought out on this - I really enjoyed it and it grasped my attention really well. I`m excited to go read your other two poems! Great job, keep it up.
