You have really hurt me.
You just took away my life.
My trust for you has broken.
Now I must lay to die.

I can't believe you did that.
Now my heart is set to stone.
For you have set a knife to my back.
And I feel so utterly alone. -

    Short....yet effective. Much contained within a few lines that would be more overdrawn and maybe exaggerated if there were more. Nice. So yes a small problem with the first stanza but overall really good and effective use with the length.
