The saying "good guys finish last" is not always a bad thing I suppose. Maybe the good guy finishes last because he is busy absorbing his surroundings while trying to understand what the meaning is to everything. Someone has to be the one to figure everything out to explain to others when their eyes are closed and trying too hard to get to the finish line first! Doesn't that make sense to you? It does to me and sometimes I forget that!
