To no-heart

by Wings Of Flames   Jul 4, 2006

Take me to the gates,
Of gold wound tight,
I've tried to stop and win,
But now you shall only fight,

Where the soft pastures,
Are of white and cloud,
Where no pain shall free,
No tokens to become so proud,

This place was within,
I felt and saw the real,
Gone, forever more,
But I shall end and never heal,

I have to find this haven,
Where I can finally be at rest,
I'm willing to let it be,
Of a falling crest,

I am not so cold,
As to die with all your hearts,
I wish not to break the scenes,
But to keep just certain parts,

Their calling me today,
But I'll never be so brave,
So I'll keep hidden,
In the darkness of this cave.
