Thoughts Of An Angry Soul

by Hasan   Jul 4, 2006

Ashtray filled with cigarette butts
Arms filled with razor cuts
Mind overpowered by grief
Forgiveness stolen by a thief
The world has given me the bird
Shamefully covered with turd
Love just slapped me in the face
Now I know my place
Tricked bitterly and mercilessly deceived
Thought I gave but have not received
Trust emigrated to an outside environment
Happiness has finally reached retirement
Friends disappear without a trace
Ages later they show their face
Picture me head down lying in concrete
Joining forces with my ultimate defeat
Through time people start to change
Yet sadly they sway out of range
Dying is a cure I am willing to take
Fantasies are something I am willing to make
Suicide is a dilemma I am facing
For I am racing and pacing
I bang concrete walls
I dizzily take pain full falls
Full of fury and rage
Unleashing my hidden beast in a cage
Smashing my already broken mirror
Crushed I sit by one of the pillars
For the world has just given me the finger

I like the general idea of this poem but there are a few lines where it could be cleaned up a bit where it goes from completely creative words to words you might use with a group of friends...... you are very talented and i could definately relate... keep writing...
