The Question

by Anna La Fleur   Jul 4, 2006

Living here beyond the world they call reality,
they tell me what i'm supposed to do and what is expected of me.
when i refuse to follow, the world collapses around me,
they torment me and injure me in any way they can.
i cannot lead the life they've made,
i cannot be their tool.
i refuse to see the things they see,
and i will not be their fool.
but still i wonder, could they be right?
is my struggle a useless fight?
should i go on with my own way?
or concied to what they want?
either way its over, and i will never be whole.
for i am far too bold.
