Summer sky

No clouds
just one blanket of blue

a blue so calming and soft
that i could not tear my eyes away

every drop of beauty that fell from the sky
i caught and devoured gratefully

never had i seen the sky like this before
never had i witnessed such a sight

my eyes absorbed evrey detail of that scene

forever, with my most cherished memories it will stay
