My Shooting Stars

Three shooting stars I wear in shame.
They have the meanings of my sadness and
they follow wherever I go.
If revealed everyone would see
I'm not as happy as I seem to be.
It would show off my scars and all of my pain
hidden inside away from the world.
The biggest secret I have ever kept,
no one can understand what I feel.
Three shooting stars that show what it means,
to be someone I'm not and what makes
me who I am inside.
These three shooting stars I wear in shame
they are my hurt, they equal my pain.
