The bait was thrown out

The bait was thrown out

Deprived from your eyes, your voice,
willingly - unwillingly I have to wait,
naive in my searching for a choice;
like a fish, gone aground, I took the bait.

You've already passed your decision,
stand by your boyfriend, not by me,
history repeats - repeats my inner vision;
after all not much light to see.

Oblivious to myself - to the light that fade,
like shades in shining light, shades that fade at night,
I want to be the light that oust the shade;
Too late to fight for what I want tonite.

Uncertain certainty - unwilling willingy,
confusing ways you won't walk nor see.
