Chaos theory

by Seth Eckel   Jul 5, 2006

Where there is beauty there was once chaos.

Where there is chaos there will be beauty.

From the beauty of the eye of a storm to a lifeless tree.

Baring no leaves as it sways in the wind falling apart branch by branch and limb by limb.

It slowly fades away leaving only a memory which too will someday die and fade away.

I like this. I love photography, and stormclouds and dead trees are a particular favourite topic of mine, so I found it very easy to visualize your words. Having siad that, your line "It slowly fades away leaving only a memory which too will someday die and fade away." might work better as this:

"It slowly crumbles away, leaving only a memory which too will someday fade away."

I don't think you need to place too much emphasis on the tree's death as it's specified so forcefully in the previous life.
