Forever You Pt. II

by ~Thorns On My Grave~   Jul 5, 2006

I traded my heart for your love, but you killed my heart and stole my love, placed it in the darkest corner of your mind, and pretended I was never there. I have wasted endless nights crying over you, hoping that you were feeling the pain that I was feeling. But I knew you weren't You were the one I hoped would never be. Everything I do is for you. I changed everything about me, hoping that you would notice that I still existed. You know I do, but you are hoping that I never have. I just wish I knew what I did so wrong to make you do something so brutal that caused the continuous pain and tears.

(I was inspired by my best friend to write this poem. She was "in love" with this boy, and then for no apparent reason, he quit talking to her and told her he wished her dead...very sad, indeed, but she still tried to win his love.)
