Without You

I sit and watch the sunset
Take one deep breath and turn around
There you are behind me
Staring without a sound

I look into you soft eyes
Trying to find the words to say
But as I reach my hand out
You turn and walk away

I feel the urge to chase you
But my body is restrained
I try to call your name out
As your shadow starts to fade

When I think of all we've gone through
My stomach starts to churn
My hands begin to quiver
And my heart begins to burn

Tears they slowly stream down
And my whole body starts to shake
That's when I finally realize
That I've made a huge mistake
