You lie

When we're lying in my bed,
I'm thinking as we kiss.
I know that I'm not the only one,
You spend this time with.

I'd do anything for you,
So that's why I'm going to stay.
Even though there's others,
I've planned to make this mistake.

You lie to me,
As you smile with your teeth.
This love for you,
I cannot defeat.

You smiled at me,
I know I deserve better than this.
I don't need this anymore,
It will never be 'bliss'.

You made me promises,
Did you ever mean those things you said?
Did you ever tell me anything real,
Or were you messing with my head?

You lie to me,
You tell me you are weak.
You said you'd never let me down,
As you lie in your sleep.

I still have memories,
Now that I've left and I'm gone.
You did so many things I hated,
Yet I'll love you all along.

I had the courage to leave you,
Just hear me out, dear.
I didn't need your lies anymore,
And I do not need you here.
