Her wings

by Raydeen   Jul 6, 2006

She left my side,
just spread those beautiful wings,
she flew so amazingly but I needed her to come back,
I loved her among other things.

she'd had them tucked away,
so long I had forgot.
I needed her to come back,
and remind me of the things she had taught.

how to love,
and how to feel.
That neither would hurt or were lies,
they were both very real.

I was scared,
because the thought of her not around,
it brought me the sound of saddness,
reminding me I had forgot how it felt when I frowned.

but I remembered her taking me,
telling me to feel the wind on my face,
and I remembered why I loved her,
no matter how far away, she gave me the feeling of love that no one could replace.
