I miss you more today,
Than I did the day before,
Every moment you are away,
My heart aches so much more.

I love you with all my heart,
My body, mind and soul,
I loathe the time we are apart,
Without you I am not whole.

I just wish that you were here,
Every morning, day and night,
My eyes wouldn't shed a tear,
And everything would be alright.

But I have to understand,
That sometimes you will be gone,
You'll come back and hold my hand,
And kiss me later on.
