Do You Know How Much It Hurts?

Do you know how much it hurts
To be called names
To be told cruel things
On my heart, they leave stains

Do you know how much it hurts
To be told you're not good enough
To not even have your family
Its getting really tough

Do you know how much it hurts
To be shoved around
All the screaming
I can't block out the sound

Do you know how much it hurts
I don't think so
So why don't you just be like the others
And go

Thats what they've always done to me
Everytime I try to fit in
They never seem to see
How much I want to be accepted

Do you know how much it hurts
To not be good enough
To not be good at all
For anyone or anything?

*Even though kids and parents,and other adults can be extremally cruel...I still have my best friend...and with her..I don't really need anyone else...so let them do what they will..they aren't gonna hurt me anymore! Haha..can you tell I'm feeling better? But really..in all sense of the poem..do you know how much it hurts when someone does those things to you?
