Ramble On My Tumble Weed

by RainbowSlider   Jul 6, 2006

Tumble weed rolling around.
Why don't you settle down?
You never seem to stick.
Your head must be thick.
Tumble weed in the wind.
Don't you have a friend?
You must like to pretend.
So much catches your fancy.
That is just plain lunacy.
Tumble weed catches flight.
When will you see the light?
You always seem to be going.
The wind has you blowing.
Ramble on my tumble weed.
Do you miss being a seed?
Your root is in the wind.
The wind is your friend.

    A simple yet beautiful poem.
It reminds me of a delicate butterfly soaring through the wind, over a field overflowing with flowers.
