BLEEDING ON THE FLOOR

by meryl   Jul 6, 2006

I lay here bleeding on the floor,
curled up in a ball of despair,
scars cover my body where I've cut before,
running out of skin,
i reopen wounds from the past,
as the blood flows i feel free for a second,
i feel alive,
in my head are pictures of you and how you could possibly be untrue?
don't feel guilty for the blood is for me not you,
tears fall from my eyes and i struggle to breathe,
i cant believe i fell for your lies,
so her i lay bleeding on the floor.
