Picture, Perfect {Ottava Rima}

Our friendship was meant to last forever,
And we've come too far to throw it away.
How can I make this anymore clearer,
When I just can't find the right words to say.
Through the good and bad; we stuck together,
Cause we always knew things would be okay.
Picture, perfect; Is what we used to be,
But the truth underneath no one could see.

Two different lives with secrets hidden,
And only one key to open the door.
Mouths closed shut because no one would listen,
To the fears in our cries when they would soar.
Friendships can fall apart, it's now proven,
But I hope we get through this like before.
Picture, perfect; Is what we used to be,
Now can you see the truth that's within me?

Ottava Rima is a poem where the stanzas consist of eight
lines each. Each line has a ten -or- eleven syllable count.
The rhyming scheme for Ottava Rima is as follows:

abababcc
dededeff
ghghghii
And so on for as many stanzas as you wish
