Kissing The Rain

by Lyndsay Kalyta   Jul 7, 2006

It's a good day
Not a single sunray
In the sky
For once it feels the same
As my heart inside
And everytime I think of you
Grey clouds come around
And everytime that I miss you
The drops pour down
And now I know
Until my heart lets you go
That I'll be kissing the rain
And soaking myself up
So I can wring out
All of my pain
Then I'll dry myself off
With all of my tears
I can't believe that I'm still here
Where I watched you walk away
When I let you go
I only wish that you could know
That ever since you've been gone
Everything that once was right
Is now all wrong
And still I pray
That I will find my strength
But until then
I'll be standing right here
Just kissing the rain
